Hello , please enjoy this issue of
WebbTips...
.
.
February 2nd is Groundhog
Day!
Did you know that the celebration of Groundhog Day began with
Pennsylvania's earliest settlers? They brought with them the legend of Candlemas Day, which states, "For as the sun shines on Candlemas Day, so far
will the snow swirl in May..." For fun facts about groundhogs, Groundhog Day history,
& Punxsutawney Phil's prediction please visit www.groundhog.org
.
. This is the year I'm getting more organized... I'd be willing to bet that I'm not the only one
whose excitement about finally getting more organized has already faded away. "Getting Organized: 5 Secrets to Help You Get Started" has helped re-motivate
me, hopefully it helps you too.

. TED
stands for Technology, Entertainment, Design. It started out (in 1984) as a conference bringing together people from those three
worlds. Since then its scope has become ever broader. The annual conference now brings together the world's most fascinating thinkers and doers,
who are challenged to give the talk of their lives (in 18 minutes). Ted.com makes the best talks and performances from TED available to the public, for free.
. While all of the talks are good, I particularly
enjoyed this talk by Isabel Allende: Tales of passion In one of the most beloved talks of TED2007, novelist Isabel Allende tells the
stories of powerful women, some larger-than-life (listen for a beauty tip from Sophia Loren), and some simply living with grace and ingenuity in a
world that, in too many ways, still treats women unjustly. Watch this
